Each days a gift and not a given right,

"If today was your last day" - NickelBack stuck on replay

2017 is coming to an end, so much has happened this year I don't even know where to start. I've learnt so much this year, I've grown so much more as a person seeing things in a slightly different view. I've seen so much, done so much, I wouldn't say 2017 was the best year but it has taught me a lot.

Taught me the real meaning of friendship,
the real meaning of unconditional love,
that success doesn't come easy,
if you really want something there should be no excuses for it.

Cherish all that you can when you have it, you'll never know when you'll lose it. The first time I'm experiencing the loss of someone I know personally, whom I've shared tons of good memories with. Its hard to actually put into words, how I feel right now. I'm still in disbelieve, it feels like a dream that I can't wake up from.

Sometimes it so hard to imagine, that one could be so broken inside that their only way out is death. I can never imagine how painful it must be for them, everyone puts up a mask, they can hide from only to remove it when no one is looking, hiding the pain they have inside, how broken they feel. You'll never know that something you say can break someone, can hurt them to an extend they can't breathe. Never judge someone for what you see, you don't know their story. And you don't know what you say to them could actually break them. If there's always a choice, choose kindness.

Each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
and try to take a path less travelled by,
the first step you take is the longest ride.

If today was your last day & tomorrow was too late,
could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you leave each moment like your last,
leave old pictures in the past, donate ever dime you had.

Its time to let bygones be bygones, what will pass has passed.
Rest in Paradise dear one, till we meet again. You'll be cherished in my memories always. X

A year on,

Can't believe it has been more than a year now, since I've left this space un-dusted. Its currently, November 2016 and the year is shortly coming to an end. It has been a spiralling year of high highs and down lows, but if I had to re-do the year again I wouldn't change a thing.

As a year of return to this page, I have alot to reflect on. This year has been a year of learning, self improvement and friendships. I've made some friends, re-made a few and definitely I've lost some I'd never thought I did. But there are some people that come into your lives for a higher purpose, to teach you a lesson or keep you safe during a perilous time. It is said, we may grow to love this person, but they're not ours to keep. We may think they're here to stay and save us, but instead, they teach us how to save ourselves.

In all honesty I'm thankful for all the friendships I've ever made, lost and remade again. This year, while getting matching tattoos together with Simaling and Beeps, I said "Now that we have matching tattoos this is forever, we cannot breakup with each other." and then she said "To be honest, having this tattoo doesn't mean not ever breaking up, but remembering the best times of our friendship." (Although our tattoo was a diamond heart, meaning our friendship is as strong as a diamond and is ever lasting) What Simaling said, made so much sense. Its not about regretting anything, but remembering the best of what it was.

I have to admit, I may not have been the greatest friend or the best person in the world but how lucky am I to have not just 1, but 3 bestfriends. Nobody is perfect and I'll always have to remember that, but its their flaws that make them special the way they are.

Thank you friends, for accepting and staying by me for the person I am and tolerating me for the times I've been extremely annoying, for the times I may have been the worst person in this world and for loving me all those times when I could not love myself.

I love you all so very much, the special people in my life. X

HKG October 2015 Day 2,

Day 2 of HKG, got up a little after 10 hearing Joey and jiejie scrambling across the room preparing to go out for breakfast. Yet again another cha chaan teng meal! This time I have photos, ha! Well although not taken by me.

*All picture credits goes to everyone on this trip.

So they started off without Beeps and I. Cause apparently, we're the dead sleepers. Office hour ladies, body clock set to have breakfast by the time I open my eyes. For breakfast we had, porridge (yet again, yes no matter how many times you've had it you'll still want more.) , carrot cake and some fried noodles. They didn't manage to finish everything, so by the time I came down I was just in time to sweep the left over noodles, which tasted pretty good.

Right about 12pm, we left the hotel starting our second day ..... SHOPPING. Yes, well there really isn't much we've planned for our trip except shopping. We were suppose to go to the Ocean Park, but our budget exceeded what we intended. So, more shopping.
Morning faces of Beeps and I!

Just as we stepped into Times Square, there was a Starwars exhibition!!!! The open space was lined up with storm troopers, I can't even begin to start explaining my excitement and the rest just... tagged along. Sorry guys, but storm troopers!?

We have reached our destination for the day! Mong Kok, it is seemingly popular to take pictures with the station names, so yes we did the same.

This picture, I apologise if it looks really gangsterish, but its meant to be. Cause we're in hongkong and the shades, and the mood and.. haha we just had to.
Then Joey decided to join our gang.

Food of the day! So you see, Beeps was the last to wake up, therefore not having breakfast and thus, hungry. We stopped at a nearby street snack stall, and ordered a huge bowl of topshell in curry sauce! &fried intestines. Gahhhh, mouth watering goodness! *please skip this portion of the post if you're hungry right now.

And we got approached by an event girl promoting for the laughing cow cheese, to take a picture in the picnic set up to get free cheese and balloons. If you do not already know Beeps does events jobs as well, so we kinda thought, same fate different country? LOL We instantly became friends, asking how much they're getting paid and stuff. Its so interesting to meet people in other countries doing the same job you do, and you wonder if its tiring here and if they're paid well.

My my, how lucky we were to come across the mobile softee! Pretty famous here in Hongkong. But we were pretty full from street snacks, so we bought just ONE to share and take photos with, here's my grumpy face because they were chasing me to pose nicely, again. &yes cause the ice cream was melting.....

So we were shopping in Argyle Shopping Center, if you ever visit Hongkong and have an unending urge to shop, do pay a visit to that shopping center! They sell from shoes to watches, accessories, bags, clothes ... basically anything you'd shop for. &The clothes there are so cheap you'd go crazy. We didn't shop much the first time we got there, but will tell you more on day 3. (:

Last stop of the day! Ichiran - famous ramen restaurant. Too bad I don't have photos for it, yet again you could refer to our vlog! I had it recorded down there. They put one person to a cubicle, so you'll enjoy your meal and not talk to your friends? Pretty interesting concept and good food! Try it out if you go to causeway bay!
Yet again snapchat worthy moments!

We got back to the hotel, had some snacks we bought on the way back. Pretty tasty!

Our actual last stop of the night was Lan Kwai Fong, Joey wanted to bring us to the club she came the previous time she was here called Magnum. 10 minutes upon our arrival, it got raided. WELL WELL WELL, such luck. But it wasn't too bad, I guess I was just probably to sleepy to enjoy it!

That's pretty much it for day 2. Goodnight sweethearts, X.

HKG 2015 Day 1,

Time check : 2:17am

Good morning, as promised to myself and whoever still reads this miserably dusty space I will update on my recent trip to Hong Kong in October! Well and since I'm still up at this hour because of my wise decision to take an evening nap, lets get started...

So I stayed over Beeps (aka Momo) place the night before, so it would be convenient for us to travel to the airport together and since they stayed so near the airport. Near death experience, don't mind me for exaggerating cause we almost missed our flight. No idea how that happened when neither of us slept the night before, got prepared earlier than the rest and still managed to be late. LOL At least we managed to get there on time, and also we had a really blur grab-car driver.

*Need to know basis.
Beeps and Hazel took an earlier flight from Joey and I. Well cause they booked their tickets the night before we flew.

I dropped Beeps and Hazel at terminal 2, then walked myself to take the skytrain to terminal 1. Where poor miss lau (aka Joey) was being grumpy, cause she left her jacket in her mom's car, thus being cold and sleepy, thus grumpy.

This was us at our boarding gate, waiting for our flight! And her very grumpy face.

&Here's the #group-fie we took upon arriving at the HK airport!
Fun Fact : Despite being one flight ahead of us, Beeps and Hazel (aka Jiejie) arrived later than we did!
We probably had an F1 pilot. HA!
Beeps GD inspired look. LOL ok I'm kidding.

FINALLY HONG KONG! Well of course snapchat worthy!

We took a long ass train ride, to where our hotel was. Which we stayed at The Vela Hotel, located at Causeway bay station, nearest landmark : Times Square. Took us awhile to figure out how to get there, we apparently have a google maps idiot - aka Joey!*** After much of walking around in a thick jacket and in the hot sun (WHOEVER TOLD US IT WAS COLD THANKS VERY MUCH), sweating like a farm pig, we finally got to the hotel! Actually, it wasn't as far of a walk but not very near either? I do not have photos of our hotel sadly, we were too engrossed in other stuff. But! side note, if you want to know how our hotel looks like, you can watch our HKG Vlog! Up on Lebeeps youtube channel.

After settling down our stuff, unpacking and changing into something cooler we headed off for our first meal in HKG! Of course, the very famous Cha Chaan Teng (Tea Restaurants) the iconic places to have your meals. We had the pretty default items on the menu, like the century egg porridge and the wanton noodles and they never fail. Nothing of the standards we would get in the same restaurants we have here in sg. Can't really remember the name of the shop, but it was along the streets of where our hotel was located.

So after having our fill, headed down to this street where there was this huge Forever21 outlet and they, obviously having a sale so we walked right in. Whats new? nothing but they have pretty much everything we don't have here in sg, but mostly spring clothing.

AND THEN.... we found the shoe section. Girls gone cray, well mostly Beeps and Joey. Its heaven on earth for them both.

We stopped by a near by dessert shop! For a half time, my legs needed to rest from all that walking.

We got back to the hotel later on to wash up and put our stuff down, made a trip to visit Victoria Peak! If you have not been there, you definitely should! The view at night is amazing, we took the tram up, but its super crowded. You'll have to squeeze your way in.

&The amazing lights and view, breath taking.

Here's our vlog! If you're too lazy to read, but I apologise that its not mobile compatible, apparently I'm not allowed to put my own music to my video due to copy right.
So I've come to the end of Day 1, hope you guys had a great Diwali. Goodnight sweethearts, stay beautiful. X

Detachment,

People are always afraid of attachment, be it emotional, material, physical. When the real fear lies in detachment.

I've never thought of it that way, when you say "I'm afraid of getting attached to things, people. etc" that is because you're really afraid that you'll ever be detached from them. We as humans, are so easily attached to basically anything in our daily lives, as simple as the sofa we sit on at home everyday, the car we drive for years.

But I guess nothing on this earth, is ever really ours. We came to this place, with nothing, but the question is - how did we get so attached to everything?
